PHYSICAL HAZARDS Food safety

Hazards caused due to addition of any foreign object, that may be added
intentionally or unintentionally in the food, for example

(a).Any Jewelry that the (b). Long and (c).Broken pieces (d).Left pieces of shell or
person handling dirty nails from crockery bone during
food is wearing non-vegetarian food

(e).Handling of food (f). Metal pieces from (g).Plastic films or (h).Addition of dust
without wearing hair-net cans and stapler pins foils used for or dirt, pest dropping or fur
and hand gloves wrapping food item

CHEMICAL HAZARDS

Chemicals Hazards are caused due to any chemical which may be naturally

occurring, or process induced chemical substances that may cause food
borne illness.

Factors that may cause chemical hazards include-

(a) Chemical Food (b) Colorants
Additives (c) Insecticides

(d) Cleansing products (e) Food Equipment
and sanitizers Lubericant (f) Rodenticides
